Last night at our monthly business meeting, we had the honor of swearing in our newest member, Anna Maust!

Anna joins us from Wapakoneta, where she has proudly served in the U.S. Armed Forces and currently works as a corrections officer at the county jail. She’ll soon be starting the EMT program at Apollo Career Center, and we’re excited to help her earn her certification and become a valuable member of our EMS team.

Please join us in welcoming Anna to the department. We’re glad to have you on board!

Have a child who still rides in a car seat? If you’re ever involved in a crash and are unable to communicate with first responders, there’s now an extra layer of protection for your little one.

Thanks to the State of Ohio, the Cridersville Fire Department now has Child Emergency Identification Stickers available. These stickers are placed on the back of your child’s car seat and provide first responders with important emergency information if you’re unable to speak for yourself.

It’s a simple step that can make a big difference during an emergency.

Stop by the Cridersville Fire Department to pick up your free sticker, or call 419-645-4000 for more information.

Day 2 of the Cridersville Fireman's Jamboree kicks off at noon today with Uncle Louie's chicken dinners at noon, grand parade with Chief Meteorologist Connor Prince as the Grand Marshal, and Co****le tournament at 1, motorcycle show from 2-5:30, Attic Stache playing in the entertainment tent at 4, Big Ticket Bingo at 4:30, Electrik Circus in the entertainment tent at 8, and many more activities throughout the afternoon. It all wraps up with our Grand Prize, 50/50, and Big Cash raffle drawing at 11:15 tonight. Come on out and enjoy the fun festivities we have planned.

Today is the day! Join us at 4pm for the 61st annual Cridersville Fireman's Jamboree!!! Car show registration starts at 4 pm, and singing of the National anthem at 6, followed by all of our other activities we have planned for the weekend. Tonight we have 127 North performing in the entertainment tent at 8 pm. Inflatables and VR games for the kids, And your favorite food trucks will be slinging that delicious food for you to enjoy. Don't forget to get your grand prize and cash raffle tickets for your chance to win some fabulous prizes or up to $1500 cash. Don't miss out on our small town fun
