(1-5) After my cafecito, I headed over to the Contra Costa Building & Construction Trades Council’s 12th Annual High-Level Networking Luncheon.

(6-7) My Field Rep., Kayla, was able to attend the Contra Costa County Firefighter of the Year Luncheon hosted by Kiwanis Club of Concord, where she awarded Captain Brian George for his hard work and dedication.

As the chair of the Assembly Select Committee on Housing Finance and Affordability, I discussed the need of a “housing economic ladder” in California that addresses homelessness to homeownership. California needs affordable housing for everyone. My vision includes intergenerational housing opportunities and strong state-wide cooperation to rebuild California’s housing from the ground up and middle out.
