☀️Let the Summer Adventures Begin! ☀️

The Pack 758 program year may be wrapped up, but Scouting doesn’t stop when school ends!

Summer is the perfect time for Scouts to get outside and explore 🥾

Here are a few Scout-approved ideas to keep the adventure going this summer:

🥾 Go on a family hike and explore a new trail
🎣 Try your luck fishing at a local pond or lake
🏕️ Camp in the backyard
🪢 Practice your knots and teach someone else
🚲 Take a bike ride and discover a new part of your neighborhood
🇺🇸 Help with a community service project
🐦 Learn to identify local birds and wildlife
📚 Read a book about the outdoors or a famous explorer
🌳 Visit a state park you’ve never been to before
📸 Start a summer adventure photo collection

Remember: A Scout is curious, helpful, and always ready for adventure!

🏹 From Webelos to Arrow of Light! 🏹

At our Bridging Ceremony, we proudly celebrated our Webelos Scouts as they crossed the bridge and officially began their journey toward earning the highest rank in Cub Scouting — the Arrow of Light! 🎉

Over the past year we’ve seen our Webelos engage in various adventures and grow through hard work and new challenges with confidence throughout it all. 💪

As they enter their Arrow of Light year, they’ll continue preparing for even bigger adventures and the exciting path that leads to Scout. ⛺🥾🔥

Crossing the Bridge! 🌉

What an incredible way to close out another Scouting year!

This weekend, Pack 758 gathered for our annual Bridging Ceremony as Scouts celebrated their accomplishments and officially crossed into the next stage of their Scouting journey.

Each crossing represented a year of growth, learning, leadership, friendship, and adventure.

🇺🇸 Standing proudly in uniform, saluting the flag, and reciting the Scout Oath and Law reminded us what Scouting is all about—character, citizenship, and service. ❤️🤍💙

👏 We are incredibly proud of everything our Scouts accomplished this year:
🏕️ Camping trips
🥾 Hiking adventures
🧹 Community service
🛠️ Learning new skills
🏆 Earning adventures, badges, and awards
🤝 Building friendships and confidence

🚨 Pack 758 Needs Your Help! 🚨

As we wrap up another great Scouting year, we’re looking for a few parent volunteers to help make next year’s adventures possible for our Scouts. 🧭

Open Positions:
🔹 Fundraising Coordinator – Organize fundraisers like Krispy Kreme sales, restaurant nights, and explore new ideas.
🔹 Event Coordinator – Help plan Pack favorites like Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold, Rain Gutter Regatta, and more.
🔹 New Member Coordinator – Welcome new families, answer questions, and support recruitment efforts.

Volunteering is a rewarding way to make a direct impact on our Scouts, build friendships with other Pack families, and help create the adventures and memories they’ll carry for years to come.

✅ Pack covers the $65 registration fee
✅ Youth Protection Training (~1 hour annually)
✅ Monthly leadership meeting (~1 hour)
✅ One-time leader training (2–3 hours)

Interested? Send us a message or talk with a Pack leader. Even if these positions aren’t the right fit, we have opportunities for Leaders, Assistant Leaders, and event volunteers.

The best Scout programs happen when families get involved. Join us and help make next year our best one yet! ⛰️

🌉The Bridge Is Almost Near! 🌉

Our final meeting of the Scouting year and our annual Bridging Ceremony is just a few short days away.

📅 Sunday, June 7
⏰ 3:00 PM

Family and friends are welcome to join us as we celebrate our Scouts’ accomplishments ⛰️

A few reminders:
✅ We will be outside, so please bring chairs or blankets for seating.
✅ Scouts should wear their full Class A uniform.
✅ Scouts may get wet, so please bring a towel and be prepared for a little extra fun!

This is one of the most meaningful traditions in Cub Scouting as Scouts advance to the next stage of their journey. We look forward to celebrating with all of you and cheering on our Cub Scouts as they cross the bridge into their next adventure.

🎣 Hooked on Adventure with Pack 758 🎣

During our last camping trip our scouts learned that not every cast brings in “the big one.”

But, after every adventure our Scouts walk away with something even better — memories, confidence, teamwork, and plenty of stories to tell back home.

That’s what Scouting is really about.

Pack 758 is always looking for new Scouts and families ready to explore, learn new skills, and make lasting memories together. Whether your child loves the outdoors, making friends, or trying new adventures, there’s a place for them here.

🌲 Pack 758 Camping Adventure Recap 🏕️

Pack 758 spent last weekend doing what Cub Scouts do best — exploring outdoors, learning new skills, making friends, and creating memories that will last long after the campfire burned out. 🔥

They stayed busy hiking the trails, fishing 🎣 , setting up tents ⛺ and relaxing around the campfire 🔥.

One of the best parts of Scouting is seeing our Scouts grow more confident and independent every time they step outside and try something new. This trip was a great reminder that some of the best classrooms don’t have walls.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the parents, leaders, and volunteers who helped make this trip possible.

Pack 758 runs because of families willing to jump in and help create these experiences for our Scouts.

🐺 Wolves Keeping Our Community Clean 🌎

This week, our Wolf Den rolled up their sleeves and got to work making a difference by cleaning up litter right here in our Crofton community!

These Scouts showed what it means to live the Scout Oath by helping keep our hometown clean and safe for everyone. 🧤

Every bag of trash picked up is a step toward a better community—and a great lesson in responsibility, teamwork, and pride in where we live.

👏 Huge shoutout to our Wolf Scouts, Den Leaders, and parent volunteers who made this happen!
