Many thanks to our Cromwell Lowe’s for their generous donation of smoke alarms to keep our campaign moving along. The Cromwell health department had some funds to use and lowe’s matched that amount to get us 50 smoke alarms to be installed in our community. Pictured from l-r Fire Marshal Harold Holmes, Assistant Store Manager Joshua Pryzbek and Maura Esposito Cromwell Health Department. These will cone in handy as the heating season begins. If anyone needs a smoke alarm please contact out office 860-635-3188.

Great news!

Today, State Representative Christie Carpino and State Senator Matt Lesser announced they secured $200,000 for upgrades to Cromwell’s Pierson Park.

The funds will be used for urgently needed upgrades to the PBA building. Upgrades will be made to the kitchen area which is used for concessions for the varsity high school football games, Sunday youth football games, and other functions. It will also be used for upgrades to the bathrooms and generally refreshing the building. The funding will also be used for upgrades to the playground to ensure ADA compliance.
