Thank you Brad and Burt for all you’ve done for students in Oregon. You’ve had quite a run.

For more than a decade, Lions have helped protect the sight and hearing of students across Northern Oregon through dedicated school screenings and service to local communities.

From 2012–2026, Brad King screened students across Northern Oregon, from Tillamook to Portland to the Idaho border, reaching an incredible 441,882 students.

From 2019–2026, Bert Diamond screened students throughout the Greater Portland area, reaching 114,331 students.

Together, that represents more than 556,000 students screened across Oregon. Thank you, Brad and Bert, for your extraordinary commitment to children, families, and our mission. 🦁💙🧡

The Kentucky Derby Party was so much fun. There was something for everyone; a fun Photo Booth, free raffle and prizes galore. Prizes were awarded for Best Derby Hat, Best Dressed Couple and Most Fashionable. Thanks to Over the Edge Taphouse for providing the amazing venue and to Lion Roger Fortun for organizing an amazing event.

The CRR Lions meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at the Sandbagger Annex. Social time begins at 5:30 and the meeting begins at 6:15. We’d love to have you stop by!

June 6, 2026 CRR Clean Up Day, FREE day at the Crooked River Ranch Lions Club Limb Dump for CRR members, 8am-11am. Acceptable items are brush and limbs. They do not accept building materials, lumber, metal, rock, plastic, dirt or garbage. Stumps are allowed but there will be a charge for large stumps over 12". The dump is located on Sand Ridge Rd between Buckhorn and Shelf Ct. Residents only membership card and id required.

Congratulations to CRR Lion Linda Bengtson, who was named Volunteer of the Year by the Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation. Linda has been a dedicated volunteer helping to vision screen at 37 schools across Central Oregon this school year. A well deserved honor for her outstanding service!

For the past twenty plus years the Crooked River Ranch Lions Club has cared for the entryway to our ranch. Today we conducted the first of our three annual road clean-ups. We would like to thank the community members who joined us. We’ll do it again in July and October!

🌿 CRR Lions Limb Dump Opening for the Season 🌿
The burn was successful, the ash has cooled, and the cleanup is nearly complete — which means its finally time.

The Crooked River Ranch Limb Dump opens for the season on April 25th.
📅 Open Weekends Only
🕗 8 AM – 2 PM
📍 Saturdays & Sundays through October

Bring your limbs and tree debris and help keep our community fire safe all season long.
