The fire department will be conducting a controlled burn tonight in Sunset Park beginning at 6pm. We will be clearing out the waterway on the north side of the park. There will be some smoke associated with this burn. Fire dept personnel will be on site the entire time.

What an incredible turn out at our 1st Annual Meat and Auction Event! We are so thankful for the amazing support we have from our community! We appreciate each and every person that attended, donated, purchased a raffle, bid on the silent auction, and everything in-between!

🚒 Why This Fundraiser Matters 🚒

We are only two weeks out from our first annual Smoked Meat and Silent Auction Fundraiser!

This year, our fundraiser is helping to equip our newest truck with upgraded tools. This includes halligans, axes, nozzles, Milwaukee electric rescue tools (saws, grinders, drills, etc), battery powered scene lighting, electric ventilation fans, and other essential equipment.

By investing in this equipment, we can be more safe, efficient, and capable on any call we respond to.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward furnishing the trucks that respond to your homes, businesses, and families.

Thank you for supporting the volunteers who serve Crooks and the surrounding areas! We can’t wait to see everyone on March 21st!

We need your help!!! To ensure the tastiest smoke meat possible we are looking for apple wood. If you have some you are looking to get rid of, we will take it. I can cut it down and haul it all way for you. Please let me know if you have any you need removed.

!!!Attention Area Farmers!!!

Due to the extreme fire danger conditions the coming days. We are asking that any local farmer in our area that has tillage equipment on standby and if able to have it hooked up and ready to go if there were to be a grassland or field fire.

Having equipment ready and nearby can make a huge difference in stopping a fast moving field or grassland fire. Your help could mean the difference in saving someone’s life and property.

If you’re able to assist or have equipment available, please let a member of the Crooks Fire Department know or message us here on our Favebook page. As always your safety comes first.
