Tri-County Community Corrections is thankful for the funding and is committed to providing opportunities for those suffering from opioid or other substance use disorders to make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.

🎉 Shout out to Tri-County Community Corrections (TCCC) for their commitment to fighting the opioid crisis in our community! 🎉

TCCC has been awarded funds to support a project coordinator as well as harm reduction supplies, from the Polk County Board and the Polk County Opioid Settlement Advisory Council. These resources will enhance efforts to reduce harm and support those impacted by the opioid crisis.

We are proud to announce that the Office of Justice Programs selected Tri-County Community Corrections as an inaugural fellow in the Reaching Rural: Advancing Collaborative Solutions program. The department chose fewer than 100 rural justice innovators for this new initiative.

We'll be working together with national organizations like the CDC and the State Justice Institute to implement solutions to substance use and misuse for justice-involved individuals in the Polk County community.

The Polk County MN team will consist of representatives from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Polk County Attorney's Office, Polk County Public Health, Alluma, Polk County Social Services, a Polk County Commissioner and a representative of Tri-County Community Corrections. We are looking forward to the work that will be devoted to this important topic over the next year.

The Tri-County Corrections Center held an Employee Recognition Event this afternoon in the University of Minnesota Crookston's Bede Ballroom. The Center invited many of its officers and their families to enjoy a late lunch as well as a few events for the attendees to enjoy, such as a page of Trivia....
