For the customers on Pine Hill Drive in New Lexington that was temporarily out of water yesterday for the temporary line installation….we will be back in the area this morning repairing a leak on a section of that line. Your water service will be temporarily interrupted again so we can repair the leak. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. We will get your service restored as soon as possible.

***UPDATE
The Portal seems to be working. (Thank goodness). Once again…I apologize for the inconvenience.

As many of you are aware….we are having issues with the portal to pay online. Our water software company is working to get it up and running as soon as possible. Hopefully it will be fixed by this afternoon. I will post on here as soon as I know it is up and running. Please keep in mind payments can be made at this office or any People’s State Bank. (The bank does not accept cards). I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you.

****UPDATE
The leak is repaired. Customers may experience air in the line which will have to work its way through the system. We apologize for that. Things should be back to normal very soon. Thank you all again for your patience.

Customers on Airport Road, Township Road 128, Mainesville Road East, Cemetery Road, Dutch Ridge Road North and some in those surrounding areas may be without water temporarily. Our crew is en route to repair a water main break and will have your service back as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. Please let your neighbors know in case they do not have Facebook.

The contractors for Southern Perry County Water Project on Township Road 312 will being tie ins to service lines so if you experience no water, it will just be for a brief period of time while they get each service line tied in to the new line. We apologize if this is an inconvenience but I assure you, the water will be back on in a very timely manner.

Southern Perry County Water District will be repairing a water line on Pine Hill Drive today (Aug 17th, 2026) due to a culvert collapse. Customers on Pine Hill Drive may temporarily be without water service while these repairs are made. We will do our best to not have to shut the water off but we never know the situation until the actual repair is being performed. If you have any questions please call 740-347-9030. The boil order that was in effect for customers who were without water service on Wednesday (due to the Township Road 315 Project) has been lifted. The samples came back good. Any questions please call 740-347-9030

Southern Perry County Water will be working on Township Road 312 (Oakfield side) on Wednesday July 29th, 2026. The project consists of replacing a main trunk line for the area. Water service will be interrupted around 9:00 am Wednesday for customers on Township Road 312 (Oakfield side), Township Road 425, State Route 13 to Six Mile Turn, And State Route 37 and 93 in the Six Mile Turn area.

We are receiving calls about low pressure in some of our systems. The problem has been found and crews are working on the situation. As soon as the problem is resolved, I will be sure to post here to let you know things should be back to normal. Thank you for your patience.
