THE DIVIDE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF DEPUTY SHERIFF. STARTING SALARY WILL BE $65,123/YEARLY. BENEFITS INCLUDE VACATION, SICK LEAVE, FUNERAL LEAVE, NDPERS RETIREMENT, AND 100% EMPLOYER PAID SINGLE OR FAMILY FULL BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD HEALTH INSURANCE. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND BE ND P.O.S.T BOARD CERTIFIED OR CURRENTLY WORKING IN A LAW ENFORCEMENT CAPACITY OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ND. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A CURRENT DRIVER’S LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD. APPLICANTS WILL BE PROVIDED ALL NECESSARY EQUIPMENT TO INCLUDE BODY ARMOR, TASER, TAKE HOME PATROL VEHICLE, UNIFORMS, DUTY BELT AND GEAR. MUST FURNISH THEIR OWN DUTY WEAPON.
