🚧 2026 Crosslake Road Improvement Project Update 🚧

The City of Crosslake’s road improvement project is scheduled to begin in mid-June. Please note that all dates are weather dependent and may shift slightly.

Area 1 Roads
🗓️ Start: June 15
✅ Paving expected to be completed by the end of the week.

Roads included:
• Bonnie Lakes Trail
• Bonnie Lakes Lane
• Tamarack Road
• Tamarack Lane
• Tamarack Trail
• Red Pine Drive
• Red Pine Road
• Shamrock Road
• Velvet Lane
• Sleepy Valley Road

Area 2 Roads
🗓️ Start: June 18
✅ Paving expected to be completed June 19.

Roads included:
• Sugar Loaf Road

Area 3 Roads
🗓️ Start: June 19
✅ Paving expected to be completed June 24.

Roads included:
• Wilderness Trail
• Wolf Lane
• Pine Bay Road
• Pine Bay Trail
• Shores Drive
• White Pine Shores Drive

Additional Work
🗓️ Concrete driveway restoration and mailbox support work is scheduled for June 29–30.

🛣️ Pavement markings will be completed after July 4th.

Thank you for your patience as we continue investing in Crosslake’s infrastructure and improving our roadways. Please use caution around work zones and watch for crews and equipment throughout the project area!

As America prepares to celebrate 250 years of freedom, Crosslake is preparing something special.

In addition to our Crosslake Freedom Flags display, I have orchestrated another event to commemorate this historic milestone and honor the triumph of the American Spirit.

It will be symbolic.
It will be beautiful.
And it will be LOUD.

This celebration will pay tribute to the men and women who built, defended, and sacrificed for the greatest nation in history.

July 5th.

A major announcement is coming soon!

Stay tuned. You’re not going to want to miss this one.

DAGGETT BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION:

Starts June 8th and is expected to go into September.

One lane of traffic will be open with alternating automatic stop lights!

Open for boat traffic!

Thank you to Crow Wing County, MN Government for agreeing to keep one lane of traffic open so we can still frequent our businesses- so important! Also, thanks for footing the bill as this isn’t a city project! Grateful for your coordination.

While this isn’t a city project, and we know it’s an inconvenience for traffic and business, it must be done as it’s a critical piece of infrastructure! Thank you to CWC for maintaining our bridges.

Had a blast helping kick off the Crosslake Fifty Lakes American Legion Summer Business Series tonight!

It was a pleasure to speak, meet new people, and enjoy an evening with such a great group. A special thank you to Mark for the invitation, and to Gerry and Russ for everything you do. Your dedication, along with the commitment of our American Legion members and Auxiliary, helps make Crosslake the incredible community it is.

Big shoutout to The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Campground volunteers who were there tonight as well! We appreciate you guys staying at the campground all summer long making it look as nice as it does!

Without the American Legion, its members, and the Auxiliary, Crosslake simply wouldn’t be the same.

Thank you all for a fantastic evening, I had an absolute blast! 🇺🇸

Thank you to the more than 250 people who joined us at Pinewood Cemetery this morning for our Memorial Day Ceremony hosted by the Crosslake American Legion.

It is so important that we continue these ceremonies, not out of tradition, but out of duty. We owe it to the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our nation and made the ultimate sacrifice defending the freedoms we enjoy today.

The strong turnout this morning was a powerful reminder that their sacrifice has not been forgotten. Gathering together to honor and remember them is the very least we can do. May we never forget their courage, their service, and the price that was paid for our liberty.

A heartfelt thank you to Crosslake Lutheran Church for once again honoring our veterans, active-duty service members, and those who have served our nation. This special outdoor service is a meaningful reminder that freedom is never free.

Join us as we pay tribute to our heroes, remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and experience the humbling military flyover following the service.

We hope to see you there!
