For every Soldier, Patriot Day is a reminder of why we serve. We honor the memory of those who were lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families who carry their legacy.

Today, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the heroes who answered the call in the face of unimaginable tragedy. We remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience that united our nation.

To those who serve and protect, and to the families who carry the memory of loved ones, we stand with you.

“Today we gather to mark the end of a command and honor a legacy," were the opening remarks from Col. Stephen Bohman, Commander, 38th Regional Support Group (RSG), as he officiated the 373d Quartermaster Battalion (QM BN) change of command ceremony in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Ltc. Thomas Terrio relinquished command to Ltc. Shaan Patel. The ceremony was held at The Quartermaster Depot, a historical landmark in the city of Jeffersonville that honors the Quartermaster Corps.

We bid farewell to Ltc. Terrio and welcome Ltc. Patel to the 38th RSG.
