The BEST day at Storytime ever!!!! Bragging first…..
If you are in anyway involved in the daily lives of these young adults , thank you and wow! Shawn and I were speechless by how kind , thoughtful and engaged they were with our little ones. Cross Plains is going to be blessed for many generations to come!! We cheered, played and learned about football!!! I think we have some new Indian fans 🏈🏈. This was an idea that grew into something way bigger. Our community is hands down the BEST!!! Thank you to the Cheerleaders and Football players for spending the morning with us! We can’t wait to do it again!!

Two years ago we read Dolly’s, Coat of Many Colors , today we read her book , I Am A Rainbow. We have read too many books to count from her Imagination Library collection since we started Storytime.
All of her books have an uplifting message and lesson. Today we smothered ice cream with rainbow colored sprinkles and M&M’s ! I think she would have liked that! We also had some beautiful butterflies visit us today in our flower bed🦋🦋🦋!

Due to capacity restrictions and safety with the number of children currently attenting our Storytime, we are no longer able to accept any new attendees.
Next year we will have a registration process to cap our number and it will be for children aged 0 to 5 only.

Thank you to Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Joe Tucker for spending his morning with us!! He read, Dragon’s Love Tacos!! What a fun book and a perfect excuse to make our own tacos at craft time!!! We have the best community and are so grateful for the wonderful people who come and read to us!!!

Today we learned so much more than ANY of us knew about watermelons!!!! Thank you , Wyatt Pearson from Orlinda Melon Company for sharing your watermelon knowledge and of course the best watermelon 🍉 ever for our snack. We are so blessed to have the biggest supplier of Watermelon right here from our community!!!
