Have you been to Cross Roads Community Market yet?

Come hang out with us and listen to music of local area musicians while your shop. Every Saturday until the second Saturday in August from 8:00 am to Noon at Cross Roads Town Park - 2042 FM 424.

We have Fresh local grown produce and local honey; sourdough bread; cookies/cakes goodies; homemade hummus; unique gift items for yourself or a friend.
We have a vendor that makes tamales and other yummy items.
We have vendors that sell jams and relishes and freeze-dried snack; vendors that sell keto-friendly healthy sweet goodies.
We have vendors that sell handmade soap and candles.
We also have a vendor that is a face painter that has joined our market....and so much more.

Enjoy a bite from one of your food vendors or a refreshing lemonade or coffee drink from one of our drink vendors.

This week is the 57th Annual Professional Municipal Clerks Week. During this week, the Town of Cross Roads would like to recognize and thank our Court Administrator, Brenda Sanchez, and Town Secretary, DeShawyna Walker, for all of their hard work! They are both crucial members of Town Hall staff. Brenda has been with the Town for 10 years as of this year and DeShawyna has been with the Town for almost a year.

This annual observance provides a meaningful opportunity to recognize and honor the essential role municipal clerks play in our communities. These dedicated professionals ensure transparency, uphold accountability, and support the efficient operation of local government.

Municipal clerks are truly the backbone of municipal operations. Often working behind the scenes, they manage vital responsibilities such as maintaining official records, administering elections, preparing legislative documents, and fostering public trust through open and accessible government practices. Their commitment is indispensable to the success of our municipalities.
