This week, we had the honor of celebrating the promotion of Assistant Chief Brian Ray with a time honored fire service tradition, the pinning ceremony.
A pinning ceremony is more than the presentation of a new badge. It symbolizes the trust, responsibility, and commitment that come with serving in a leadership role. The badge represents the sacrifices made, the experience gained, and the dedication to protecting our community and supporting the men and women of the fire service.
Having a family member or loved one pin the badge makes the moment even more meaningful, recognizing that no firefighter achieves success alone. Behind every promotion are countless hours of support, encouragement, and sacrifice from family and friends.
This week, Assistant Chief Ray accepted not only a new rank but an even greater responsibility to lead with integrity, courage, and service. We are proud of his accomplishments and confident that he will continue to uphold the values and traditions of our department.
Please join us in congratulating Assistant Chief Brian Ray on this well deserved promotion and wishing him continued success in his new role. Congratulations, Assistant Chief Ray!

The last two nights at Cap Gates Arena have been some wet ones, with heavy downpours moving through the area. Despite being completely soaked, our team at the Crossett Fire Department remained on scene each night to help provide public safety for everyone attending the events.

We are proud to serve this community no matter the conditions, and we appreciate everyone’s patience, support, and cooperation during the rainy weather. We are hoping for better weather for night three.

Five time world champion, Tyler Waguespack, is entered in tonight in the 78th Crossett Rodeo!!! You don’t want to miss it.
