I enjoyed speaking with two groups of Brown Elementary 4th grade students as they stopped in the fully restored Commission Meeting rm of the Historic County Courthouse this morning. The DCI Downtown Tours are regularly offered to CCS 4th graders and it's a blessing to meet the promising young people and their teachers.

This increase would have been devastating to water customers in the former South Cumberland water district. City Mayor Crawford did the right thing by returning to the previous price for contract water.

The Crossville City Council on Tuesday night reversed a recent automatic 25% hike in wholesale water rates for outside utilities while keeping the increase for in-city customers, approved a temporary moratorium on new data centers, and heard extended public comment on surveillance cameras and water....
