Creative Compassion is now helping eligible veterans and surviving spouses navigate Project 250, a U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development initiative that may provide funding for qualifying home repairs.

This is more than a new program, it's an opportunity to help veterans and surviving spouses who need repairs to keep their homes safe, healthy, and accessible by providing a local team to guide them through every step of the process.

Don't forget this weekend is Tennessee's tax-free weekend!

This year, the sales tax holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2026. Tennessee’s annual sales tax holiday has been in place for two decades--the first annual sales tax holiday happened in 2006.

During the holiday weekend, clothing and school supplies priced at $100 or less may be purchased tax-free. Computers priced at $1,500 or less may also be purchased without paying state or local sales tax, saving Tennesseans nearly 10 percent on qualifying purchases. Items sold online are eligible, and all purchases must be for personal use, not for business or trade.

This Overdose Awareness Month, we invite you to join us for A Night of Hope, a special Purple Gala dedicated to remembering those we've lost, supporting those still fighting, and inspiring hope for the future.
Together, we will:

Hear powerful stories of hope, recovery, and resilience
Stand together as a community committed to ending the overdose epidemic
Enjoy a complimentary plated dinner
This event is completely FREE thanks to the support of our community partners. However, RSVP is required as seating is limited.
Whether you have been personally impacted by overdose or simply want to show your support, your presence matters. Together, we can remember, heal, and create hope for the future.

Join us for Adult Summer Camp at Cumberland Mountain State Park and spend two half-days learning, exploring, and playing in the great outdoors.

Designed for adults 40+, this unique camp experience includes:

✨ Basic wilderness first aid skills
✨ Archery instruction
