The National Weather Service Has Issued a Red Flag Warning for

Baylor, Foard, Hardeman, Knox, Wichita, and Wilbarger Counties

(A warning is issued when a hazardous weather or hydrologic event is occurring, imminent or likely. A warning means weather conditions pose a threat to life or property. People in the path of the storm need to take protective action.)

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Red Flag Warning for hot and windy conditions, which is in effect from 9AM to 10 PM CDT Thursday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

Been a busy 24 hrs for CVFD from mutual aid for Paducah Fire last night and this morning to being a mile from returning to the station getting paged out for a car fire. Thanks to the firefighters for their time and dedication to keep our community and surrounding areas safe.
High Fire Danger still exists for today and for the foreseeable future. Looking like another below normal rain fall summer.
