Today, for National Police Week, Fire Chief Romero stopped by the Crowley Police Department to deliver a sandwich tray as a small token of appreciation and support from all of us at the Crowley Fire.

We are proud to stand beside our police family, today and every day. Thank you for your dedication, your sacrifice, and your commitment to keeping our community safe.

🚒 Crowley Fire Department Response 🚒

Earlier today, crews responded to a truck fire that occurred while the vehicle was parked outside of a residence.

Thankfully, the fire was contained to the truck only, and there was no damage to the home or surrounding property. 🙌

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

Great job to our firefighters for their quick response and keeping the situation from spreading! 💪🚨

🚒 Crowley Fire Department Response 🚒

This evening at approximately 6:20 p.m., Crowley Fire Department units were dispatched to a report of smoke coming from a residence on W. 8th Street.

Upon arrival, firefighters located a fire inside the home. Thankfully, no one was home at the time of the incident. Crews acted quickly to contain and extinguish the fire.

A portion of the residence sustained fire and smoke damage.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

🚒 Crowley Fire Department Response

Crowley Fire responded to a fire on the grocery receiving side of Walmart earlier this morning. Upon arrival, crews determined the cause to be a battery on an electric bicycle that had caught fire.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames and secured the area. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported.

We remind everyone to use caution when charging and storing lithium-ion batteries and to always follow manufacturer safety guidelines.

We had the honor of gathering for a special appreciation crawfish boil hosted by Fire Chief Romero 🦞🔥

This boil was our way of saying THANK YOU to the incredible men and women of Crowley Fire Department. From our dedicated firefighters, valued retirees, and selfless volunteers , along with the families who stand beside them every single day.

Behind every call, every late night, and every holiday spent away from home, there is a strong support system making it all possible. We are beyond grateful for the sacrifices made not only by our department members, but by their families as well.

It was a great evening filled with good food, laughter, and even better company. We are proud of this fire family and thankful for each and every one of you. ❤️🚒

🚨 Crowley Fire Department Response x2 🚨

Crowley Fire responded to 2 separate house fire calls in South Crowley, occurring just 10 minutes apart and only 2 blocks away from each other.

Both structures were confirmed to be abandoned residences. Our crews acted quickly to contain and extinguish the fires, preventing further spread to nearby properties.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office is currently on scene and will be conducting a further investigation into both incidents.

🚒 Crowley Fire Department Response 🚒

Crowley Fire Department responded to a call for smoke coming from the attic at the Dollar General located next to Subway on North Parkerson.

Upon investigation, the crew determined the source of the smoke was a faulty compressor on a freezer at the back of the store.

Thankfully, the issue was quickly identified and addressed.
