June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, and CoAction is proud to support individuals living with dementia and the caregivers who walk beside them every day.

Through our Dementia Initiative, families across Northwest Indiana can access Memory Cafés, caregiver support, educational Lunch & Learns, and dementia outreach services that provide connection, education, and compassionate support.

Brain health is community health, and no family should navigate dementia alone.

Strength. Resilience. Hope. 💜

During Stroke Awareness Month, we are honored to share the story of Jennifer Malone, CoAction’s Chief Services Officer, and her daughter Brooke. At just 18 years old, Brooke experienced a stroke that changed her life forever.

Through every challenge, Brooke has continued to fight for her recovery each and every day with incredible determination, courage, and perseverance. With the unwavering support of her family and her own inner strength, Brooke is thriving and inspiring others along the way.

Watch their powerful story and join us in raising awareness about stroke recovery, resilience, and the importance of support systems that help survivors keep moving forward.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

At CoAction, we are also proud to support the veterans in our community through programs like Veterans-Directed Care, helping those who served maintain their independence and age safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Today, and every day, we honor their courage, sacrifice, and service.
