Lake County Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency Social media pages & department emails are not monitored 24/7. For emergencies dial 9-1-1. (THIS IS JUST SOME OF WHAT WE DO)

1.

Consider conceivable risks to the county
(man-made or natural).
2. Devise a plan(s) to prepare, mitigate,
respond, and recover from those risks.
3. Make sure the resources are available to
execute the plan work (equipment, trained
personnel, etc). Lake County Homeland Security and
Emergency Management Agency
accomplishes these by following IDHS
standard format of planning, mitigation,
response and recovery.
