CDC monitors important health issues affecting American Indian and Alaska Native youth.
A recent study found that high school students who drink soda or sports drinks 4 or more times a day are less likely to visit a dentist each year, while those who drink water 3 or more times a day are more likely to receive dental care. By analyzing data and elevating insights like these, CDC helps inform culturally grounded, community-driven approaches that support health and overall well-being.
