Monthly Health Check – Announcement Video
WHO:
Health Empowerment Network of Maryland, also known as HENM, invites members of the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing community to join us.
WHAT:
We are hosting a Monthly Health Check with free preventive health screenings and health services.
WHEN:
The event will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
WHERE:
The event will take place at Doswell Elementary School, located at 1301 Brooke Road, Capitol Heights, Maryland 20743.
WHY:
HENM is expanding its outreach to Maryland’s Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing community to help make healthcare more accessible and connect people with important preventive health services.
HOW:
ASL interpreters will be available during the event. To register, scan the QR code on the screen and complete the registration form.
Closing:
We welcome you to join us, get your health checked, and connect with your community.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Doswell Elementary School in Capitol Heights.
