Yesterday, a few of our firefighters visited Good Sheperd preschool to host a fire-prevention presentation. It is so important to start teaching kids young about the basics of fire prevention and what to do if they are ever in an emergency.

The Puerto Rican Cultural Association of Bucks County (PRCABC)Board of Directors is offering (2) $500 scholarships. Applicants must be Hispanic or actively involved in the Hispanic community, have a graduating GPA of 3.4 or better, be a graduating student from a Bucks County High School (2022), reside in Bucks County, PA, accepted by College or University ( copy of acceptance letter required) actively involved in community activity and demonstrates financial need.
Applicants must submit a 500 word essay expressing their course of study, GPA, involvement in the community including a letter from advisor or person in charge attesting to character of applicant and hours spent helping with the program.
Scholarship committee expects to get to know applicant from essay. Applicants, tell us about you.

Congratulations to the FDR Boys Basketball Team for winning the Lower Bucks County 8th Grade Boys Basketball Championship! They finished the season strong on a six game winning streak, beating Schafer Middle School 40-27 in the championship game.
Coach Keith Flynn and Coach Neal Hoffman recognized early on that this team was capable of winning against any team if they played well defensively. Treating teammates with positivity really helped them come together as a team and win. 🏀
