Mark your calendars - National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is October 29, 2022 from 10AM - 2PM!

In an effort to eliminate the misuse and abuse of drugs, Goochland County Sheriff’s Office will once again participate in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. This aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

On this International Firefighters’ Day we recognize and thank our very own firefighters who keep us all safe right here in Goochland County!

While there is Level 4 WIND ADVISORY TODAY 3/7/2022, please be aware of the burn law in effect until May 1.

What is a Level 4 Advisory? Fires start readily and spread quickly. Resistance to control is high, as is the potential for large fires. Fire behavior is often erratic, “blowup potential” is high.
