Today, JPAD and the Festus Fire Department had the pleasure of providing water safety and choking awareness training to more than 600 Festus Elementary School students.

Teaching children how to stay safe around water and how to recognize choking hazards is an important part of preparing our younger citizens with sensible routines and precautionary habits while having fun this summer.

Today, JPAD participated in specialized training with Huskey Bus to strengthen response coordination and prepare for a variety of emergency situations. Their team also provided valuable insight into the specific features and layouts of their buses, helping our crews better determine how to respond safely and efficiently during transportation-related emergencies.

We appreciate the opportunity to train with Huskey Bus and value the partnership in helping keep our community safe.
