Looking for a fun way to celebrate California State Parks Week?

Join us tomorrow morning for a family-friendly plein air painting experience at Crystal Cove State Park. Surrounded by historic cottages, ocean views, and the natural beauty of the coast, you'll learn the basics of outdoor painting while creating your own artwork inspired by the landscape around you.

No painting experience needed—just bring your curiosity and creativity. Our instructor, Debbie Morines, will guide artists ages 8 and up through the process, and all art supplies are included.

Our Baja Gray Whale Expedition is a wrap, but we're still processing it. 🐳💭⁠

We followed the gray whales south to Laguna San Ignacio: one of the last wild calving grounds on the Pacific Coast. Friendly whales surfaced beside our pangas. Osprey circled over mangrove channels. And twenty people who flew south as supporters came home as something closer to lifelong stewards.⁠
