McHenry and Nunda Township residents. 2019 Assessments have been published for McHenry township, appeal deadline is October 18th. Nunda residents, assessments will be published in the next few weeks. Both townships' 2019 assessments are available on the County's website. Anyone curious if they should file an appeal feel free to reach out to myself for a free analysis on their property assessment. Given this is the first year of a new quadrennial, there are a lot of individual changes to many people. Even if you received a reduction, there may still be room for a further reduction with an appeal.
We are all over taxed in the state of IL, but the question the appeal address's is "Are we over valued by our assessor". If yes, then you will be successful with an appeal.
