π£ A Message from the Nunda Road District
Dear Nunda Residents,
Over the past week, our community has shown extraordinary strength. Neighbors, volunteers, and friends came together in a moment of crisis, working side by side to protect our homes and each other. Because of that unity, Nunda has weathered a challenge none of us will soon forget.
As we move into the final stages of recovery, the Nunda Road District will begin removing more than 90,000 sandbags placed throughout our neighborhoods. This is a major undertaking, and we want to make the process as smooth and efficient as possible.
π¦ HOW YOU CAN HELP:
When you feel comfortable and it is safe to do so, please move sandbags from your private property to the edge of the roadway. Our road crews will collect and dispose of them properly.
π€ NEED A HAND? OR CAN YOU LEND ONE?
If you are unable to move the bags yourself, please don't hesitate to reach out to a neighbor β and if you are able, please lend a hand to those who may need assistance. The same spirit that helped us protect our community will help us restore it.
Together, we have already accomplished so much. Now, by continuing to support one another, we can clear the final remnants of this tragedy and place it firmly in our rearview mirror.
We are deeply grateful for your resilience, your cooperation, and your unwavering community spirit.
With appreciation,
Rob Parrish & The Nunda Road Crew
