It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of one of our own.

Today, we mourn the passing of a dedicated firefighter, a valued member of the St. Lucie County Fire District family, a loving son and brother, and a friend to many.

We ask that you keep his family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We are grateful for his service, his dedication, and the impact he had on those around him.

As we mourn this loss, we remain committed to serving our community with the same dedication and sense of purpose that define the fire service.

Rest easy, Brother. Your service, dedication, and friendship will never be forgotten. You will always remain a member of the St. Lucie County Fire District family.

Another successful All-Hazards Expo! Thank you Citrus County Sheriff's Office Office of Emergency Management for organizing this important event. It’s a great opportunity to share valuable preparedness information with our community before hurricane season arrives.

The expo also provided the perfect chance to discuss fire safety with attendees. Special thanks to Fire Inspector, Craig Davide, and our firefighters for helping educate the public and answer questions throughout the event.

We appreciate everyone who stopped by our booth and took the time to learn how to stay safe and prepared. Together, we can build a more resilient community.

We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support shown to our Youth Fire Cadet Program!

A huge THANK YOU to the Crystal River Woman’s Club, Pilot Club of Crystal River, and the Kiwanis Club of Inverness community organizations for their generous donations to our cadet program. Your support helps provide opportunities, training, equipment, and experiences for the next generation of firefighters and first responders.

What many people may not realize is that our Youth Fire Cadet Program is 💯 donation funded and operated. Every uniform, training opportunity, event, and learning experience is made possible through the generosity of our community partners, local organizations, and supporters like you.

These young men and women are learning leadership, teamwork, discipline, public service, and emergency response skills that will shape their futures and strengthen our community for years to come.

We truly cannot thank everyone enough for believing in our cadets and investing in the future of the fire service. Your generosity makes a direct impact, and we are honored to have such amazing community support behind this program.
