Have you wondered what our Friends organization does with donations we receive, money made from purchases you make in our Nature Store, grants we work hard to secure and your Friends membership fees?

Here are some photos of those dollars at work. Three Sisters Springs is in the process of getting some incredible upgrades! You may have seen equipment coming and going, this brief time of chaos will result in some incredible changes. Thank you for your continued support!

Wow - our "Natives for Newbies" lecture was awesome! Athena Philips was so knowledgeable and provided guidance as well as many materials for attendees to take home to do additional research on what would be best for their yard. Athena set aside time to share her insights, resources and personal experiences in her native plant journey. All left there with a better understanding of how to bring native plants to their home landscapes. In addition - all attendees were given a plant to take home, thanks to Jane (a dear friend of the Refuge and native plant enthusiast). Another successful Nature Lecture Series is in the books!

Follow our page to stay updated on the next presentation as well as upcoming events. We are grateful for your support of the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge and Gift Shop. Stop by to visit our free exhibits and perhaps pick up a souvenir or early Christmas Gift. Our hours now, open M-F 10:00 to 4:00. Hours change once we get closer to manatee season.
