Awesome picture from the next phase of our River walk area. Construction equipment and crane is set and we are ready to start! The flag looks great. We will continue where you see the Riverwalk with the green railing under the flag, to the left of that, along the water and include a pedestrian bridge over the water to the Crab Plant, and then continue on around the bay in the next phase. A big day in Crystal River today. We broke ground on our River walk project. This next phase will run along the Kings Bay waterfront from Kings Bay Park and have a pedestrian bridge to the Crab Plant Restaurant. So many people have worked over 30 plus years to make this happen. A special thank you to former City Council members, city staff, and all the property owners along the walkway that had the foresight and vision to plan this . Thank you to our current City Council and current city staff for working so hard to actually make this happen and break ground. A special thank you to our local residents Gerry Mulligan and Carol Kimbrough for their unbelievable dedication and work for making this happen.  This project will enable our residents and visitors to walk throughout our downtown area, on to our waterfront areas, and link a multitude of restaurants and businesses together to create an awesome environment for all to enjoy. Great job!
