Yesterday, our team stepped away from the office for our annual staff retreat.

We spent the day investing in ourselves as a team, reflecting on where we've been, getting aligned on where we're going, and recommitting to the collaborative, mission-driven work that our members and community deserve from us.

We were incredibly grateful to have Laura Lindeman, Deputy Superintendent with Citrus County School District, join us as our facilitator. Laura brought thoughtfulness, energy, and heart to our day, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to guide our conversations. The relationship between the Chamber and Citrus County Schools is one we deeply value, and having Laura in the room was a beautiful reminder of what community partnership looks like in practice.

And if that wasn't enough!!! We were treated to a surprise lunch visit from Superintendent Dr. Scott Hebert! It meant so much to have him stop by and spend time with our team.

We also want to give a big shoutout to The Key Training Center for opening up The Oak, their stunning AirBnB in Lecanto, as our retreat venue. The space was warm, functional, and the perfect setting for a day of focused team work. If your business or organization is looking for a retreat venue (or you're looking to plan a relxaing weekend staycation) that checks every box AND supports a great local cause, we can't recommend The Oak enough.

This team continues to grow, and we are so proud of the work we do together, and the community we get to do it for.

Welcome to the Chamber, Palms of India!

Palms of India is a family owned restaurant bringing the rich culinary heritage of Punjab to Hernando. The Singh family is dedicated to serving authentic Punjabi style cuisine prepared with unique spices and traditional cooking techniques.

Using traditional Tandoor clay ovens, Palms of India creates the signature smoky flavors found in their meats and breads. Their menu features appetizers, Tandoori specialties, main entrées, vegetarian dishes, drinks, desserts, and favorites including Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, and Chicken Tandoori.

Guests can choose from mild, medium, or hot spice levels and enjoy the flavors of traditional North Indian cuisine along with warm family hospitality.
