It is a branch of the Copiah-Jefferson Regional Library (CJRL) System. All branches in the CJRL system are also part of the larger Long Leaf Consortium. The Consortium is a group of libraries with multiple branches in the following counties: Copiah, Franklin, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, Lawrence, Lincoln and Marion. Obtaining a card at any of the branches will give the member access to services at

Who may apply for a library card?
•Individuals ages 18 and over
•Minors must be registered by a parent or guardian
Requirements for Residents seeking full library privileges:
Driver’s License or Photo I.D. which includes a qualifying address
in these counties: Copiah, Jefferson, Lincoln, Lawrence, Franklin, Marion and Jefferson-Davis
•A P.O. Box is not a qualifying address.
•When a photo ID does not contain a qualifying address, two qualifying
utility bills must be provided. Current Utility Bill:
• When considering utility bills, the service address (which might not match the
mailing address) is considered the qualifying address for establishing residency.
•If the bill is not in the applicant’s name, two (2) bills must be provided with the
service address matching the address on the photo ID. Requirements for Non-Residents seeking full library privileges
•Non-residents are people who do not live in one of these qualifying counties: Copiah, Jefferson,
Lincoln, Lawrence, Franklin, Marion and Jefferson-Davis.
•The qualifications for non-resident patronage are the same as those who live within the
qualifying counties.
•There is a one-time, $10 fee for non-residents.

What if I just moved to the area and my driver’s license has not been changed to the current address? Our membership policy requires you to have two proofs of current address. Therefore, two current
utility bills are required to prove permanent residency. (See qualifying requirements above.) Will any bill work? No, only these - Water, Electric, Sewage, Garbage, Residential Telephone Bill, Residential Gas Bill
