The Crystal Police Department and the Adult Academic Program offer a FREE driver’s ed class to help adults (18+) prepare for the written permit test. Our next class starts on September 14. It’s graduation time! At the Adult Academic Program, we recently celebrated our spring graduates by showering them with love and pride! Since January 2026, we have had 20 people who earned their GED/Diploma at our school and were invited to attend our spring graduation. Of those students, eight of them joined us for the special event. We are incredibly proud of all our students who have completed their GED/Diploma! Congratulations, Spring Graduates of 2026! 😃🎉🎓

The adult students at the Adult Academic Program (AAP) come from over 70 different countries and are learning English or earning their GED/Diploma. Every year, we hold a resource fair and invite local support organizations that may help our students and their families. Thanks to these local organizations, AAP students get help: finding a job, registering for career training, locating a food shelf, enrolling in college, learning about energy assistance, and more!

Did you know we have a class for adults who have suffered a stroke or a brain injury? It's a free class that meets in-person and online. With the help of teachers and volunteers, students can relearn their academic skills in reading, writing, math, and on the computer.
