Today, on Victory over Japan Day, we pause to honor and remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the heroic generation that brought WWII to an end.

Eighty-one years ago, after years of intense conflict and unimaginable hardship, peace was finally restored. We owe an incredible debt of gratitude to the service members who fought bravely in the Pacific Theater, the families who waited anxiously on the home front, and every individual whose sacrifice ensured the freedoms we hold dear today.

As the years pass, the direct voices of the Greatest Generation grow fewer, making it our shared duty to carry their stories forward. Let us never forget the price of peace, the strength found in unity, and the enduring spirit of those who served.

To all our veterans and their families: thank you. We remember, today and always.

Today, August 10, is Agent Orange Awareness Day. 🎗️

On this day in 1961, the U.S. military first tested Agent Orange in South Vietnam. Over the next decade, 20 million gallons of herbicides containing toxic dioxins were sprayed across the region—leaving a silent, lasting legacy.

For hundreds of thousands of Vietnam veterans and millions of civilians, the war didn't end when they returned home. Decades later, families still face severe cancers, Parkinson’s, diabetes, and generational health impacts.

Today, we remember those lost, support those still fighting, and stand with affected families.
