On May 26th, 2026, at approximately 8:53 PM, Cuba Police arrested Alisa G. Gomolka (28) of homeless. Gomolka was arrested on charges of petit larceny (2 Counts, Misdemeanors) and forgery 3rd (Misdemeanor). Gomolka was processed and sent to the Allegany County Jail for arraignment. Gomolka is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On May 17th, 2026, at approximately 8:43 PM, following a motorcycle accident, Cuba Police arrested Dakota R. Steiner (36) of Cuba, NY. Steiner was arrested on charges of moved from lane unsafely (Violation), speed not reasonable and prudent (Violation) and driving while intoxicated (Misdemeanor). Steiner was processed and released. Steiner is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Zeughardt is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

We have been asked to inform motorists that the Cuba Dunkin’ Donuts location will be closed today and tomorrow while they pave their parking lot. They will be placing signage at their physical location, as well as notices on their website and for online orders to inform customers of the temporary closure. Please share this so motorists are aware and there are no traffic issues.
