Need to dispose of sharps safely? 💉

The Cudahy Health Department accepts sharps for disposal, but they must be placed in a certified sharps container. We cannot accept sharps in non-approved containers.

Don't have a sharps container? We have them available for purchase at a low cost:

• Small container — $2

• Large container — $10

This May, in honor of Mental Health Month, our team donated Care Kits to local organizations across our community that foster connection, support healing, and promote mental wellness. 💚

Each Care Kit included a set of South Shore Care Cards, which connect individuals to our South Shore CARESxCredibleMind website; our Caring Conversation Cards, designed to spark meaningful conversation about mental health; and bags of the special Brew a Better Day Blend, generously donated by Sugar Leaf Coffee Roasterie.

A special thank you to Sugar Leaf Coffee for their generous donation and collaboration on the Brew a Better Day Blend, helping us spread comfort, connection, and care throughout our community. ☕
