In June, 2022, the EPA issued new health advisory levels to manage the risk for a group of man-made chemicals in drinking water known as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). As a proactive approach, the City of Cudahy Water Utility has participated in a DNR new, voluntary program for communities that are interested in learning whether their municipal water supply is impacted by PFAS.
