Ready for a summer full of reading adventures?

Readers of ALL ages are invited to join our Summer Reading Challenge!

Starting June 5th, stop by our Summer Kick-Off Party to grab your reading logs and punch cards and get the fun started!

Keep reading all summer long and turn in your completed logs/punch cards by July 24th — the final day to submit and celebrate your reading success!

Family Storytime was filled with many new friends and special hosting guest, Tamara Kainer, Joey and Dakota all with Cuero Regional Hospital as well as Danielle Laird with Cuero ISD Early Literacy Program to provide free books through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library!

All joining us to help promote rural healthcare in support and celebration of National Hospital Week!

Our library is honored to receive two donated copies of The Great Poobah written by local author Tara Henke. This special story was written in dedication to Cuero High School graduate Jerome Perry.

We are grateful to share this meaningful book with our community. You can now find The Great Poobah available for checkout—a signed copy in our Local Author section, as well as a copy in our Children’s section.

We hope you enjoy this story as much as we have. 📚
