We’re rolling out the red carpet for a fun day with health information, screenings, vendors, games, music, prizes, and plenty of time to visit with friends. Also, we will be serving lunch!

And since it’s Hollywood… dress up as your favorite actor or actress! There will be prizes for the best dressed ⭐!

Senior Day at Oktoberfest is just 6 weeks away!

We’re giving you plenty of notice this year because we have lots of new contests and activities that we think you’re going to love!

Now is the perfect time to start planning your Oktoberfest look! Pull out your dirndl, lederhosen, or get creative with your own festive German attire for a chance to take home the winning prize for best costume!

Get creative and bring your Oktoberfest spirit! We can’t wait to celebrate Senior Day with you!

Volunteers Needed

We are looking for volunteers to help deliver meals to homebound seniors from all seven of our full-time senior centers, Monday through Friday.

You don’t have to commit every day. Even volunteering one day a week or just a couple of times a month can make a meaningful difference.

When you deliver a meal, you’re providing more than food. You’re helping seniors remain safely and independently in their own homes.

If you have a little time to give, we would love to have you join us. Every volunteer and every delivery matters!

Tiffany said it so well in her post! Ms. Jackie is truly one of the kindest people you will ever meet. If the word “dedicated” in the dictionary had a picture beside it, it should be hers!
She is an amazing lady, and her more than 40 years of devoted volunteer service to the Holly Pond community is nothing short of remarkable. We are so thankful that ADSS recognized her last week at the Alabama Senior Hall of Fame Banquet. She is certainly deserving of this honor!

We couldn't do it without volunteers like Ms. Pat! Thank you to all our volunteers who show up and serve! For anyone with a little extra time on your hands, we NEED more volunteers!

Our homebound meal volunteers not only deliver meals to seniors in the city of Cullman, they also deliver our Cullman County Senior Magazine! Keeping our homebound clients informed and connected.🇱🇷
Pat has delivered meals for over 20 years for the Cullman Senior Center, she can tell you a thing or two about the meal program and we couldn’t do it without volunteers like Pat!

Happy Birthday to our amazing Nutrition Coordinator, Laurie Knight!

You'll usually find Laurie behind the scenes, quietly doing whatever needs to be done to keep everything running smoothly. Her hard work, dedication, and willingness to help wherever she's needed make a difference every single day.
