🚨We’re giving away a set of 2 tickets to see the West Virginia Mountaineers take on Coastal Carolina on September 5th to one West Virginia first responder!

Here’s how to enter:
1.)Like this post
2.)Share this post
3.) Comment your agency, who you would take to the game with you, and why!

We’ll have a non-first responder pick their favorite comment to keep things as unbiased as possible.

One important thing: These tickets are not to be resold or given away after winning. If you already know you plan on selling them or giving them away, please don’t enter. We want these tickets to go to a first responder who actually wants to attend the game!

The winner will be announced Sunday, August 30th at 7 PM.

We need the help of the citizens of Culloden. Milton has sent a letter to the State to annex Rt 60. This will affect anyone living in Culloden. If you are involved in an accident, you will wait longer on a Fire Department response, if this annexation is granted, due to Milton Fire Department would become the primary Fire Department, as they go where the city of Milton goes. This annexation could affect homeowners insurance, and businesses insurance rates, should they elect to go into city limits. Even though Culloden Fire Department is the closer Department and would have a faster response time, in your time of need, we would no longer be the primary Fire District. This goes for either direction, Milton and/or Hurricane. Response times to emergencies will take longer, being farther away. Each Department (Culloden, Milton, and Hurricane) rely on mutual aid to assist each other when needed, and/or requested, BUT should this annexation be granted, they (Milton and/or Hurricane) would then be the primary Department for those areas and Culloden Fire Department would not be able to respond until requested by the primary Department. In addition to the slower response times, roads would be shut down even longer, and the safety of the residents of Culloden would be at a higher risk, given the longer response times from any other Department, than that of Culloden Fire Department. For the reasons mentioned above, we are urging the community to make your voice heard, and stand firmly against this annexation by calling your County Commissioners, Delegates, Senators, and even the DOT. Help us, help you, by emailing, Stephen Rumbaugh, at [email protected] or by calling (304) 558-0444. You can also email [email protected] and [email protected]
