As Law Enforcement Appreciation Week comes to a close, we don’t just recognize the officers that currently serve their communities; we pause to remember the officers in our country who have lost their lives in the line of duty. WCUPD would like to say thank you to our fellow law enforcement officers for serving their communities with integrity, dedication, and courage.

As we celebrate the Class of 2026 , we’d like to take a moment and congratulate one of our own, Jocelyn Wirth! Today, Jocelyn graduated with her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. She spent her senior year working as a part-time dispatcher in our emergency communications center.

Jocelyn, you did it! You dedicated countless hours to serving your fellow catamounts as the voice behind the headset, all while handling a full course load. You made a tremendous impact and we couldn’t be more proud. We are truly thankful to have had you watching our six. As you enter this next chapter in your life, we wish you nothing but success. Go make us proud!
