The Student Government Association at Western Carolina University serves the student body by working with administration to improve campus life. The Executive Branch (Presidential Cabinet) provides a variety of programs for clubs and organizations and works directly with WCU Administration. The Legislative Branch (Student Senate) works to advocate and represent student interests to the appropriate

parties including but not limited to upper administration, department heads, and campus partners. The Judicial Branch holds traffic court meetings and interprets the bylaws and constitution where necessary.

Hey Catamounts! Did you know that SGA has a program called Cats and Gowns? You can rent a free cap and gown while supplies last instead of purchasing one. Just email us at [email protected] with your height and we’ll help from there! The only condition is that you return the gown after graduation. Looking forward to hearing from you, cats! 💜🐾💛
