Dear Jackson County Parks and Recreation Members,

Please be advised of two upcoming temporary off-site closures scheduled for maintenance and improvements.

1. Greenway Closure Starting Friday, May 8th at 5PM the Greenway will be closed to the public. Our maintenance team will be performing necessary crack repairs on the Greenway path itself to ensure a safer experience for all users.

2. Judaculla Rock Area Closure Starting Monday, May 11th, the Judaculla Rock area will be closed. During this time, the walkway will be resurfaced and updated to improve accessibility and site preservation.

Both areas will remain closed until the scheduled work is completed. We anticipate that each project will take one to two days to finish, depending on weather conditions.

We apologize for any inconvenience these temporary closures may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to maintain and improve our county’s outdoor spaces.

Sincerely,

Jackson County Parks and Recreation Management
