FREE LEGAL RESOURCES FOR VIRGINIANS!
The Virginia Poverty Law Center has launched VirginiaLawHelp.org, a FREE statewide resource with legal information and tools to help Virginians navigate common civil legal issues. Some of the free tools include:
• DIY Divorce Tool – Helps you prepare forms for a simple, uncontested divorce without a lawyer.
• SNAP Calculator – See if you may qualify for SNAP and estimate your potential benefits.
• DIY Court Fee Waiver – Helps you prepare a request to have court filing fees waived.
The site also has information on housing, family law, benefits, employment, consumer issues, and more.
