We are SO excited for our amazing friends at the Fauquier Free Clinic!!

What a wonderful addition for the families and individuals they serve, and for the Fauquier community as a whole! Transportation can be such a huge barrier when trying to access healthcare, resources, and support, and we love seeing another step toward making those services easier to reach.

Congratulations on this exciting new addition and another meaningful step toward making care more accessible in our community!

One of the things we value most at Mom2Mom is showing up for the community that continues to show up for us!

This week, our Executive Director, Kirstan Knipple, and Board Member Jeff Say had the opportunity to volunteer with Career Partners during Mock Interviews at Culpeper County High School and Eastern View High School.

We met some amazing teenagers, heard about their goals, helped them practice their interview skills, and even got to share a little about Mom2Mom. Who knows... maybe we met a few future Mom2Mom volunteers!

We couldn't do what we do without our incredible community partners, and we believe being a good partner means showing up for others the same way they show up for us.

Thank you, Career Partners, for letting us be part of it! 💙

Today, we’re honoring the incredible legacy of Dolly Parton. ❤️

Dolly may never have had children of her own, but she made sure millions of children around the world knew they were loved and encouraged to dream big.

Through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library children from birth to age 5 can receive a FREE, age-appropriate book mailed directly to their home every month. Books are available in English and Spanish, and there’s no cost to families! 📚

FREE LEGAL RESOURCES FOR VIRGINIANS!
The Virginia Poverty Law Center has launched VirginiaLawHelp.org, a FREE statewide resource with legal information and tools to help Virginians navigate common civil legal issues. Some of the free tools include:

• DIY Divorce Tool – Helps you prepare forms for a simple, uncontested divorce without a lawyer.
• SNAP Calculator – See if you may qualify for SNAP and estimate your potential benefits.
• DIY Court Fee Waiver – Helps you prepare a request to have court filing fees waived.
The site also has information on housing, family law, benefits, employment, consumer issues, and more.

BREAKING: Today, Virginia Poverty Law Center launched VirginiaLawHelp.org, a new statewide website providing free legal information and self-help resources for Virginians facing common civil legal issues.

Designed to improve access to justice in Virginia, VirginiaLawHelp.org offers easy-to-understand, plain language information about common problems. The site provides legal information and resources, so Virginians can understand their options and take next steps. And using the "Get Legal Help" tool, you can find local legal aid organizations in your locality and learn how to apply for free or low-cost legal assistance.

CULPEPER... DOOTY IS CALLING!

Mark your calendars because National Diaper Need Awareness Week is September 14–20, and Mom2Mom will be out and about in the community all week raising awareness, collecting diapers, and talking about a problem that really stinks... Diaper Need.

And we’re wrapping up the week with some backup!

On Friday, September 18, the Tim Chilton Culpeper County Sheriff & Culpeper Police Department are teaming up with Mom2Mom for our “When Dooty Calls” Community Diaper Collection at Culpeper Walmart!

Stop by from 10 AM–6 PM and help us PACK THE PATROL CARS with diapers for local babies and toddlers!

All jokes aside, diaper need is a very real struggle for local families, and every pack donated helps keep a little one clean, dry, and healthy.
