At our regular club meeting on Thursday, August 20, we enjoyed an exciting and informative program with Bryan McCormack from the Culpeper County Library!

Bryan shared updates on the library, including the many ways it continues to grow, serve our community, and provide valuable resources and opportunities for people of all ages.

We’re grateful to Bryan for taking the time to join us and give us a closer look at all that’s happening at our local library!

Camp Fantastic Farm Day — A Day Made Possible by an Amazing Community!

It’s the most beautiful time of the year,Special Love Camp Fantastic! And we Rotarians could not be more excited about Wednesday’s farm day! It’s more than just a week of camp for these children, it is a week that hopefully allows them to feel like a kid at summer camp instead of a patient with cancer.❤️

May 14 through June 18, the Flags for Heroes display will proudly wave at The Culpeper as we honor the individuals who inspire, serve, and strengthen our community.

The Flags for Heroes Ceremony will be held on May 19th at 5:00 PM as we recognize and celebrate these heroes together.

**FLAGS FOR HEROES PROGRAM TODAY**

Flags for Heroes today at The Culpeper

The Rotary Club of Culpeper is hosting a Flags for Heroes program starting at 5 p.m. today, May 19, on the back lawn of The Culpeper retirement village, 12425 Village Loop in Culpeper.

American flags are placed in honor of sponsored heroes, and they will be named at the ceremony. The keynote speaker will be Robert J. Shade, U.S. Navy Retired. Attendees should use the Route 299 entrance for parking. There will plenty of ice and water at the 45-minute program and shuttles to the site.

The flags, visible from James Madison Highway, will be displayed in the prominent location through June 18.

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸The Flags Are Up 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

We are proud to announce the commencement of the 4th Annual Flags for Heroes Event, featuring an impressive display of over 200 full-size American Flags. A ceremonial event will take place to honor this spectacle. This year's ceremony will be held on May 19th at 5 PM, featuring patriotic music performances by students from Yowell Elementary School, Eastern View High School, Culpeper High School accompanied by MJROTC, airplane flyovers, bagpipe music, a Veteran, Rotarian and published Author, Robert Shade with a story as our keynote speaker and taps, as well as the reading of the names of this year's honorees, graciously sponsored by our generous supporters. Join us for this patriotic celebration as we commemorate the United States' 250th anniversary, bringing together our community in a dignified tribute. 🇺🇸
