Law enforcement is still actively searching for Thomas Dyre. If you have any information on his whereabouts or camera footage from around 10:30 A.M. yesterday from Thornton Ct, please call our non-emergency number (540) 727-7900 to speak with an officer.

The Culpeper Police Department is seeking the public's help locating Thomas Dyre, reported missing this morning.

Last seen: Approximately 10:30 AM today near his residence on Thornton Ct, Culpeper, VA — left on foot.

Description:
Age: 79 (DOB 9/25/1946)
Height/Weight: 5'4" / 160 lbs
Hair/Eyes: Gray hair / Blue eyes
Clothing: Unknown at this time

Thomas is considered endangered due to a cognitive impairment resulting from a stroke.
If you have seen Thomas or have any information on his whereabouts, please call 911 immediately or the non-emergency line at 540-727-7900.

Saturation Saturday is a nationwide law enforcement initiative led by Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (M.A.D.D). It increases police presence on the weekend before Labor Day to combat drunk drivers.

CPD is participating in this initiative and will have increased enforcement tonight into tomorrow morning to help ensure road safety.

K-9 Gracie is a 5 year old Australian Shepard and a certified Emotional Support Therapy K-9.
K-9 Hawk is a 6 year old Belgian Malinois and a certified dual-purpose (narcotics and tracking) K-9.
K-9 Reina is a 6 year old Belgian Malinois and a certified dual-purpose (narcotics and tracking) K-9.
K-9 Luna is the newest member of our team. She is a 2 year old Black Labrador and a certified dual purpose (narcotics and tracking) K-9.
