The Miller Grove Fire Department is a 100% volunteer fire department located in Hopkins County Texas. Found in 1976, Miller Grove Fire Department provides fire and first response to 9,200 citizens over a 101 square mile area; it also provides support to the Hopkins County Fire Department and the 12 other stations in Hopkins County. This department is a non-profit and runs mainly donations from it

citizens it is proud to serve. The men and women of the Miller Grove Volunteer Fire Department look forward to serving you and being there in your time of need.

Today Miller Grove Firefighters attended a county wide fire training hosted by D**e FD. Leading instructor was Captain Michael Towne of Hopkins county fire. The training covered communications, structure rescue, venting and pumping operations. Other departments attending were D**e, North Hopkins, Brinker, Arbala, and Hopkins county 20. Everyone did a fantastic job and the training was hands on and very informative. Thank you D**e FD for hosting today. Miller Grove firefighters are constantly striving to better themselves and the department as a whole to BEST serve the community and its citizens.

Today Chief Bill Alberts was proud to host some 5th and 6th graders from Miller Grove ISD for lunch/ fire truck rides and accept the donation check of over $2,000 they raised during their inaugural art expo! Thank you for everyone who put this together we are exited to see the youth in our community supporting the VFD! Hope everyone had a blast!
