Domestic violence doesn't just affect the adults involved. Children who witness or experience violence in their homes can carry the emotional impact long after the violence ends.

Every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, supported, and heard.

At CASA of Forsyth County, we advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs remain at the center of decisions about their futures.

This month, we stand with survivors, honor their strength, and recognize the importance of breaking cycles of violence to create safer futures for children and families.

A Court Appointed Special Advocate is a trained volunteer who stands beside a child experiencing foster care and helps make sure their voice, needs, and best interests are heard.

CASA volunteers:
👂 Listen — Get to know the child and what matters to them.
🤝 Connect — Communicate with the important people in the child’s life.
⚖️ Advocate — Share informed recommendations with the court.
💙 Show Up — Be a consistent, caring presence during an uncertain time.

You don’t have to be a lawyer or social worker to make a difference. We provide the training, you provide the commitment to show up for a child.
