Jackie Duncan, look what the planets are doing for your birthday, happy birthday, Jackie!
Don't Miss Tonight !
Before sunrise, a beautiful line of planets will appear in the eastern sky. A thin crescent Moon will sit nearby, guiding your view.
Mercury will be low and faint near the horizon. Mars will shine with a soft reddish glow above it. Higher up, Saturn will appear bright and steady, while distant Neptune is very faint and needs a telescope to see.
Look about 30–45 minutes before sunrise from a place with a clear view of the east. As daylight comes, the planets will slowly fade.
A quiet and special sky moment worth waking up for.
